Hello,
I just changed my computer and I would like to transfer Windows Live Mail from another computer in order to recover my messages and especially my contact list.
Does anyone have a solution? Thank you in advance.

Windows 8.1
Office 2016
Configuration: HP Pavilion dv7 Model 3110ef AMD Athlon (tm) Dual Core M320
2.10Hz
Windows Seven 64-bit Operating System
Office 2010

Thank you very much for your quick response.
The problem I can't solve is the "link" between the two PCs.
I tried using a USB drive on which I put the contacts to transfer, but when I want to import to the other one, I run into a difficulty that I can't solve even though I am following an instruction manual from Orange to the letter.
I get to this point https://imagesia.com/2015-10-10-17h48-05_123on and I don't know what to put in the box ....
Browsing opens the Documents page of my PC and then ?????? -
I have temporarily solved my problem by taking the contacts that interest me the most and putting them back in place on the new PC.
Fortunately, I have a list of my contacts on an external hard drive.
For now, I can't do more because my old PC crashed this morning; it won't start anymore... Thankfully, I had sensed it coming and found a replacement while I might try to fix it.
Thank you anyway for responding to my request for help.
I will mark this issue as resolved. -
Hello,
To save your address book, simply do an "export" of your address file from your email software on your old PC.
On the new PC, open the email client and do an "import" of the previous file (there can be different formats, generally take the one that uses semicolons between the items).
See you soon
