Hi everyone,
I hope you can help me with my problem. I have a laptop, a Fujitsu Lifebook A series, that won't turn on. I was advised to buy a new charger because the original one is not working anymore, so I bought one but nothing happens. I also changed the CMOS battery with another of the same voltage (3v) and same reference (CR2032), and now the charge light on the laptop turns on for about 2 minutes and then goes off. Nothing starts up.
Please help me and thank you in advance, and I'm sorry for my French.

Hi,

don't be sorry, your French is well above average on this site...

And the battery?

Remove it and plug the laptop in using the charger, see if it starts...

First of all,
Thank you, that's nice. I tried removing the battery but nothing happens, the red charging light doesn't turn on anymore (maybe because the battery is removed).

Hello.

Your diagnosis matches mine. Same symptoms on an Acer laptop I tried to repair last month. After various checks on the power supply (OK), only the motherboard was left (dead).
However, it would have been more advisable to check the voltage and current output from the charger before buying another one. Too bad... if the diagnosis is confirmed!

This is just a suggestion... Bye

Hi
I finally found the issue, it's the fan that isn't working anymore and after replacing it, the PC starts up very well.
Thank you for your responses
