HP laptop: Plugged in, not charging

Hello,

I bought a HP Pavilion 17 laptop with Windows 8 a year ago. But for some time now, I’ve been having a problem with the battery. It has been displaying "plugged in, not charging" for a few days, and since it is at 0%, I can’t work without the cable.

I have done some research online, and the solutions I found (like removing the battery and putting it back) did not work for me.

I wanted to know what solutions there are to fix this problem?

    Your battery is no longer charging and is out of order, which is why you have this message.
    If you want to use your laptop without the power supply, you need to replace the battery with a new one.

      But you can remove it if your PC starts up without the battery.

        I can use the PC without the battery if it's already on. (I haven't tried turning it on without the battery).

        Okay, I still think I’ll buy a battery, it's better...
