Hello, my two telephone handsets are constantly displaying "searching," and the batteries are charged. I pressed the search stop button on the base with no effect. What should I do, please? Thank you!

It concerns 2 Philips CD440 units that continuously display "searching."
Try unplugging the base for 10 to 15 seconds.

Hello
Try to manually re-subscribe your two handsets to the base
See the guide on page 24 of the attached PDF in the paragraph:
5.7.5 Manual selection of the base

Very hard to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...
Uh.... not the battery symbol (on the left) or the antenna symbol (on the right)?
If there is no antenna symbol, it means that the handsets are indeed not (or no longer) subscribed to the base and therefore need to be re-subscribed...
Before attempting a new subscription... please remove the batteries from each handset for about ten seconds and place them back (be careful with the orientation)
