Issue with Google Chrome

Solved

Hello, so let me explain my problem: when I turn on my computer, Google Chrome works fine, but it shows me a message:
"Unable to open your profile correctly. Some features may not be available. Please check that this profile exists and that you have read and write access to its content."
But well, Google Chrome works normally.
However, when my computer goes to sleep and I wake it up, Google Chrome won’t open anymore, I have to restart it.
So it’s not very practical, I’d like to know if anyone has a solution?

Hello,

Click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.
Click on Settings.
At the bottom of the page, click on Show advanced settings....
Go to the Reset browser settings category.
Click on Reset browser settings.

NOTE: The default values of your browser settings will be restored. Your homepage, the "New tab" page, and your search engine will be reset, your extensions will be disabled (you will need to reactivate them) and your tabs will no longer be pinned. Other temporary data or cached data, such as cookies, site and content data, will also be cleared. However, your bookmarks and saved passwords will not be deleted or altered.

You will also notice that the box "Help us improve Google Chrome by reporting your current settings" is checked, meaning you are sending your Chrome settings to Google anonymously. If you leave it checked, you are allowing Google to analyze your settings to improve Google Chrome; of course, you can uncheck the box if you do not want to send your settings to Google.

I tried and it didn't change anything. I reset it and then closed Google Chrome, and when I wanted to reopen it, it wouldn't let me, I had to restart it again.

Hello Manon, hello M@ître Gims :

corrupted profile!!!

Completely close Google Chrome.
Use the keyboard shortcut Windows key + E to open Windows Explorer. (or start/run)
In Windows Explorer, enter the following path in the address bar. (copy/paste)
Windows XP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\
Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 10: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\
In the directory window that opens, locate the folder named "Default" and rename it "Backup default".
Then reopen Google Chrome. A new "Default" folder is automatically created when the browser opens.

If you wish, you can transfer information from your old user profile to your new profile. However, this action is not recommended, as part of your old profile may be corrupted. To transfer your old bookmarks, copy the "Bookmarks.bak" file from the "Backup default" folder into your new "Default" folder. Once the file has been moved, rename it to "Bookmarks" to complete the migration. Other browser data remains in the "Backup default" folder, but you cannot transfer it to your new profile.
best regards.

re:

strange that you don't have this folder?
try this => close your browser, right-click on the icon, properties and search for the target, you should have a "chrome" folder rename it to "chrome32.exe" or "chrome32" close and relaunch from the icon on the desktop;
