IDM with Google Chrome Solved

Question

Hello,I just downloaded and installed Google Chrome... it's a beautiful browser but the problem is IDM 5.17 won't integrate with Google Chrome.. I used the advanced integration in the menu and chose Google Chrome and then restarted the PC but nothing happened.. for example, when I watch YouTube, the little download thing doesn't show up like it does in IE...... what should I do.... Because I really love Google Chrome.. and I only want to use it without going through Internet Explorer to download with IDM.... Thank you.Configuration: Windows XP Safari 530.5

I have the same problem
Following these steps might work:
1 - Go to Google Chrome
2 - Open the "Chrome Store"
3 - You will find "Extensions" in the left menu, click on it.
4 - In the search bar, type "IDM"
5 - Then it will show up in the option "IDM Integration"
6 - Download it to add to Chrome
Maybe it will work

If it doesn't work anymore, you need to reinstall "Google Chrome"

Yes, this is a new browser, Google Chrome. Now, I just want to share my experience on how to integrate Chrome with Internet Download Manager (IDM).

1: Open IDM, Downloads >> Options Open IDM, Downloads >> Options
2: Check the box "Use advanced browser integration"
3: Click "Yes"
4: "OK", it will restart your computer

Do not run Google Chrome, but open IDM and open the Options dialog

5: Check the box "Detect new applications trying to download files from the Internet"
"OK" to save options "OK" to save options

Run Google Chrome, and try to download something.

In fact, IDM is not yet compatible with Chrome; we have to wait for IDM version 6.0 (which is rumored to be released this June ^^).
