Hello,
First of all, I apologize if I’m in the wrong topic.
Here’s my problem:
The front door of my building is secured by a Vigik keypad, which also opens with a badge. Then there’s a second door that opens with a badge.
Regularly, my badge doesn’t work for the first door, so I enter the code and then it works perfectly for the second door. But this morning, after trying my badge on the first door, the code didn’t work either. After 10 minutes, the code finally worked and I was able to get in, after a little scare.
Do you have an explanation for this malfunction? I read that metal could interfere with the magnetic badge. Do you think that my keys, which might have passed in front of it, could have blocked the badge for a while?
