How to connect an external hard drive to a projector?

Good evening everyone,
I have a video projector and I would like to connect a hard drive or a USB stick to play various multimedia content, except that this video projector does not have a USB port, only a mini USB port, so I have no way to connect a USB stick to it.
My question is the following: Do you know a way to connect my external hard drive to my video projector through an adapter or by any other means? Thank you.
