Hello, hello!
I'm currently trying to connect my PS2 (which has a composite output, or I believe it's also called analog) to my video projector.
To describe a bit, the satellite and the DVD player are already connected via HDMI to an "amplifier," which is linked via HDMI to the projector.
So I'm trying to connect my PS2 (composite) to the amplifier, which transmits to the projector via HDMI.
I can hear the sound but no image. I think it's because the analog signal can't be transmitted through this HDMI cable to the projector and that my struggle is without solution, but who knows?...
Otherwise, I can connect directly to the video projector but I lose the sound...
Thanks in advance for the clarifications, hoping this SOS is clear enough.

Hello
the signal from the PS2, which today is considered outdated in analog form, cannot connect to an HDMI that is fully digital. The video projector must have a composite video input (analog), which is a round yellow RCA connector; with a SCART > RCA adapter, connect this and it should work. The sound must be treated separately and fed into the audio amplifier, but with the PS2, it will also be analog stereo sound.
OK ??

The model of the projector would be a plus
that said, at the back you should have a yellow RCA socket, that's where you need to connect
for sound, you also need two RCA cables (white and red)
there you go
