SIEMENS Gigaset AC260 Blinking Base

Hello,
My Gigaset AC260 phone is not working, the word "base" is flashing on both handsets and I can no longer make calls or receive calls.
Do you have a troubleshooting solution for me?

    Excerpt from the notice on page 8 
    Manual registration of handsets on bases 
    Gigaset AC160/AC260/AC165/AC265
    1. On the handset: 
    MENU => Settings => OK => Handset => OK => Register handset => OK
    Enter the system PIN code of the base (default value: 0000). => OK
     
    The message Registering Base flashes on the screen.

    2. On the base: press and hold (min. 1 second) the Registration/Paging button (p. 1) within 60 seconds after entering 
    the system PIN code.
    The registration process can take up to five minutes

     Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
     Especially when it's not there...
