Vinyl player on television

Hello,
A sound signal must be amplified beforehand to have suitable power.
Most turntables require an amplifier (unless for specific use other than playing records, like professional music/DJing or digital transcoding).
If you don't have one, preferably use your hi-fi system which includes one, or pre-amplified speakers, like computer speaker kits.
I doubt the signal amplification will be sufficient, especially if your equipment dates back to before the advent of other media like CDs and audio cassettes.

I imagine you are using your TV by default, but small 5W or 8W (RMS) speakers are likely to have better power than your TV which is not designed for that purpose.
If you have direct connection inputs, you can try connecting to your computer’s input, which will also benefit from its sound card.
