Hello,
I would like to get a turntable for my old records, but I don't have a hi-fi system, speakers, or home theater, and I was wondering if I could connect this turntable via the RCA output:
https://www.cnet.com/products/pioneer-pl-990-turntable/
to this TV:
http://tv-video.fnac.com/a2254989/Televiseur-Televiseur-LCD-16-9-Sony-KDL-40W4000E?PID=65867
Is this feasible or completely silly and impossible?
Thanks :)

Configuration: Mac OS X Safari 525.27.1
But what does it mean when manufacturers specify "Built-in phono preamp"
I am citing this URL:
http://www.shoppydoo.fr/prix-accessoires_son-preampli_phono.html
The DP-29F is the ultimate easy turntable. Delivered ready to use with its cartridge and dust cover, it comes with a built-in phono preamp and can be connected to any home theater or mini system, even if they don't have a phono input.
Or when it states: "built-in phono equalizer"
Or again "built-in RIAA preamp", I searched on Wikipedia and for RIAA, it has to do with record sales, gold records, etc.
I feel like this is going to cost me more than I expected to re-listen to my vinyls....
