Hello,

I would like to delete all the bookmarks in Safari at once without having to go through (right-click -> delete) because I have about 10,000 bookmarks to delete :/

Thank you for your help.

Safari is not responding?
It's not working?

More than surprising!

What exact version of Mac OS X is this Mac running?

Another radical method is to delete the bookmark.plist file located in the Safari folder of the user's library

which is here:
Users / Username / Library / Safari / Bookmarks.plist

Note: the user library is hidden starting from Mac OS X 10.7, so to access it, you need to open the "Go" menu in Finder while holding down the alt key. You will then see the Library line appear, so you click on this line to go to your personal Library.

Thank you very much, but by deleting it, am I not risking losing certain things?

removing the bookmarks (bookmarks.plist) only deletes the bookmarks.
