Create a gradient of red and yellow in a shape.

Hello,

I'm using PowerPoint 2013 and I'm trying to apply a gradient fill that goes from yellow to red in a shape. I can only manage to create a gradient in either red or yellow, but not a gradient from red to yellow.
I used to be able to do this with PowerPoint 2010, but I can't remember how.
Can you help me?

    Good evening,

    You select your shape, then under the Drawing Tools/Format tab, in the Shape Styles group, you click on Fill => Gradients => More Gradients.

    In the panel that appears on the right, you check "Gradient fill."
    Your shape will have a default gradient (based on your color scheme).
    Under the "Gradient Stops" section, there are small sliders that you can move.
    If there are sliders in the middle of the bar, you select them one by one and drag them outside of the bar to remove them.
    Then you select the first one, and across from the Color section (just below), you select red. You do the same for the last one by selecting yellow.

    There you go! >Then, you can choose the type, orientation, transparency, etc.
