Black screen PC Packard Bell

Solved

Hello,

I have a Packard Bell computer, and yesterday my PC was working perfectly, no issues. The battery ran out, so I turned off my PC because I wasn't going to use it anymore.

Today, I plugged in the charger and turned it on, the startup happened, and then suddenly it went to a black screen with just the mouse cursor. I removed the battery and the charger, held down the power button for 10 seconds, then put everything back. And it starts again, the PC turns on normally, and then suddenly black screen, I waited a few seconds but nothing happened. All the lights are on. The PC is not warm when usually it is. I don't understand. I'm a beginner in this area and I don't understand what's going on.

Does anyone know how to explain this to me? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hi,

Restart the operation while waiting longer (30-40 seconds).

Afterward, tap F8 at startup and try to boot in safe mode.

See you later

Thank you so much! I tried the process again, then waited 50 seconds as you said, and it's working again. I had lost hope! Packard Bell is not a very good PC brand; it crashed just two months after I bought it, so back to customer service!!! Anyway, thanks!

Hi,

You're welcome :)

Download CCleaner: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download and perform a normal cleanup followed by a registry cleanup (by saving the reg file).

After that, I will recommend a good cleanup for your PC in the virus/security forum.

See you later!
