Hello everyone,
I'm tearing my hair out trying to find a solution to my problem...
Please help me... if possible quickly as I'm working on a project and have a deadline... thank you soooo much!
On my laptop, I'm told that I should have a key that activates the numeric keypad (just the numbers above the letters)
I've been looking but can't find it.
On my desktop PC with the numeric keypad on the right I can do alt+0169 and I see the © Copyright logo... but I can't do that with my laptop because there's no numeric keypad on the right.
So if you find the solution to my problem, I would be a very very happy 63-year-old lady...
Thank you in advance!!

I'm going to try to explain it to you as clearly as possible ^^
On your keyboard, either you have a separate numeric keypad on the right like in picture number 1.
Or you have a numeric keypad combined with special characters like in picture number 2.
In your case, you are on picture number 2. So to activate your numeric keypad, you simply need to enable the shift key.

I understand all of this well.. I'm like #2 so even if I do word for word what you say.. nothing works because I really believe that after doing all these tests, my phone does not have a "numeric" keyboard that I can enable or disable.
I see in your capture #2.. the key with the number 2 (before the numbers 1 to 0) is not on my keyboard.
I find you incredibly patient and very kind to try to help me but it’s not that I don’t understand, and that you don’t explain clearly, on the contrary, you explain very well but it’s not applicable for the model of keyboard I have.
If you tell me how to upload a photo or image here, I’ll send you one of MY keyboard.

All keyboards are identical in terms of functionality; your keyboard works the same way as in photo number 2, even if you have different keys.
On your type of keyboard, the activation or deactivation of the numeric keys is done via the Shift key.
If the manipulation doesn't work, then try using Shift+Alt+0169.

Good evening,
if you work with Microsoft Office
try the combination Alt + Ctrl + R
(you need to hold all the keys at the same time without the +
or, more simply, copy and paste ®

Good evening Max3811.
thank youuuuu yes it works in Word.. thank youuuuu. Yesssss Yippee!!!! finally
may I ask an additional question please?
how can I achieve the same result outside of Microsoft Office?
for example in an email with Gmail, and also in a graphic software like Paint Shop Photo Pro X3 (a software that resembles Photoshop I’ve been told)
Thanks a lot for your help, I really appreciate it ++++

How can I send you a photo of my keyboard???
For example, for the number 5, you type: Shift (lock key) to lock in uppercase and then the number 5. Or you can use Shift (the key below the lock key), hold it down and type the 5.
So I'm looking for a way to find out if I can do it with my laptop.
