Hello,
I checked on my laptop with a software (Everest) the type of my motherboard, it is of type DDR3L but the problem is that there are hardly any DDR3L memory modules on the internet except for one on a website. So I would like to know if DDR3 will be compatible with my motherboard.

Thank you for your response!

    Hi

The specificity of DDR3L is that its SPD is programmed for 1.35v, allowing it to start directly at 1.35v, whereas you may have DDR3 with an SPD profile at 1.5v.
In 99% of cases, motherboards with base "DDR3L" accept normal DDR3 at 1.5v without any issues.

The opposite case is trickier; not all controllers support the low power consumption voltage of "L".

So for me, it should be compatible in your case.
One caveat, though: with RAM, you never know.......

Alright, thank you very much. If I understood correctly, in 99% of cases it's compatible, but he runs at 1.35 volts.
But I think it will be compatible because I have a Toshiba Satellite C70-B that I bought not long ago.
But in the contrary case, I can always return the product, right?

But in that case, I can always return the product, can't I?

Yes, you just shouldn't take too long to try it out.
