scroll horizontally with the mouse wheel

Question

Hello,I think I have seen that you can instruct the mouse to move horizontally when scrolling the wheel (instead of vertically by default) on Microsoft Excel. Does anyone have an answer on whether I dreamed this or if it’s possible, and if it exists, where the option is? Thank you

Hey thread, Thank you Raymond for your punch, I've added the use of buttons on the sheet. In response to Max_the-threat, it all depends on the type of mouse and the flexibility of your scroll wheel, you can press the wheel to the left with your fingertip and move your mouse to the right and to the left, but it's still a workaround. Hello It doesn’t fully answer your question but....  What happens when you press the wheel without turning it?  If your cursor turns into a 4-pointed star (up / down / left / right) with a central point, you can move in the direction of the arrows simply by moving the mouse in the desired direction, but be careful, the further you get from the central point, the faster the movement increases. Good evening everyone, Changing Excel settings will apply to all Excel documents, which may cause issues with certain files, and this function manages scrolling after confirmation.  But if the document on the screen has multiple horizontal and vertical pages, just press down the mouse wheel to navigate to remove the function of pressing the wheel.  By the way, the wheel associated with the Ctrl button also has an interesting zoom function; hold down the Ctrl key and scroll the wheel, one way gives you zoom in and the other way zooms out. Hello,  on some mice, you can push (without turning it, you have small arrows drawn on either side to recognize it) the wheel to the left or right for horizontal scrolling. You need to have the provided driver installed. Works on browsers, not sure about Excel.  eric  -- By continually trying, you eventually succeed.
