Logitech mouse not recognized

Question

Hello,

I use a Logitech mouse that I connect through a USB port that I hardly ever remove. And for the past few days, my mouse is no longer recognized by my PC even though I haven't touched the USB port. So I remove it and put it back in, and it works sometimes, but ultimately the mouse is not recognized anymore over time.

I read that restarting the PC in safe mode fixes the problem, so I restarted my PC in safe mode, and the mouse worked very well in that mode, but when I returned to normal mode, it didn't work anymore.

I would therefore like to know if you have any answers to provide, considering that I don't think the issue comes from the USB port since the mouse works normally in safe mode.

Hello,

You may need to add a plug-in to your PC for it to recognize your mouse.

Wired or wireless mouse?
If it's wireless, does this mouse have a "connect" button or not?
If so, when it freezes, just try pressing it... at the same time, if there is one as well, that on the USB key that drives it...

These "connect" buttons are often tiny... but it's true that some don't have any... take a close look! ;)

And do you not have, around the PC, a possible source of interference, like a mobile phone...?

If it's a wireless mouse, are you sure the batteries in the mouse are good?
