Hello,
The computers in my company are networked, with shared files on a server.
I have one computer (a Windows 7 64-bit) that hasn't been able to open Office files from the network since I changed it.
However, if I copy the file locally, it opens.
From the network, it opens Excel and a blank page, as if I'm starting a new document.
This machine was purchased in multiple copies, and there are no issues for other users.
What could be the reason for this?
Best regards
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 43.0.2357.81

Hello
How are these files opened on the network?
By double-clicking on the file?
Is access to the file done through a network drive, or through \\server\share\file?
If you launch Excel, and go to File, Open and choose this file, does it open?

The user has access via a network drive that loads at startup.
For example, Drive Y and the path is \\192.168.1.5\Folder\***
From this drive, it does not work.
However, I just tested that if I manually type the access path in the explorer and then choose a file, it opens.
Similarly, I performed the requested test, which is to first open Excel.
If I look for the file through the drive, it's not better.
If I look for the file by manually typing its location address, it works. -
Where do we see UNC permissions? What does it mean?
Yes, I tried to recreate the network drive manually, same issue.
In my Active Directory, it has the same settings as other users in terms of loading network drives.-
UNC path
permissions are set by right-clicking on the file, properties
And is it only this PC that is affected?
Or does it come from the user?

Regarding they are assigned to everyone on the files I am trying to open.
On another user's profile it works.
