La carte SD ne s'enclenche plus

Hello,
the SD card does not stay in place when I push it into the slot.
Normally, I push it all the way in, there’s a little click, it pops back a bit and stays locked.
Then to take it out, I press it again until it clicks and it’s released.
But now, despite the click, it immediately pops back out and doesn’t stay in place.
I haven’t found the technical diagram to fix or short-circuit the push-push mechanism; does anyone have it?
Thanks

Configuration: Windows XP / Chrome 42.0.2311.152

Hello. Try giving a little blow with compressed air into the orifice; there might be some small dirt blocking the "click." It's just a suggestion. Regards

Good evening gironsul
it's already done!
there must be a bent latch from operating too much.
either I straighten it or I bypass it
but I don't dare to venture without knowing how it's made inside.

Hello. Sorry, I'm waiting for any other responses as I don't know if it's really repairable. Have a good day.

Hello...

You didn't mention which device (PC, camera, tablet...) you are having a problem with...
In some cases, you can add an external USB card reader because taking out the card from a camera, for example, shouldn't be easy without causing damage... in my opinion!
Best regards,

hi poupougne13
it's a tomtom gps, and if the map isn't plugged in, it doesn't work!
what's more, it's a motorcycle gps, so it's difficult to secure the card in place as the compartment it's in needs to be properly closed; otherwise, everything gets fried at the slightest drop of water!
thanks

So, if you can't do otherwise, you have the option of an external card reader to plug into your USB port (Mini/USB?)... but it still needs to ensure that the connection disables the original reader... not sure!
