My PC does not detect my SD card.

Hello,
I have an ASUS laptop, and when I insert an SD card (to view photos), the computer doesn't detect anything. It's as if I haven't inserted anything.
Please help me.

    Does this SD card work correctly on another device: mobile phone, PC, etc.?
    Testing it on another machine is very important.
    Do you hear the device recognition sound when you insert the card into the computer?
    Is the card recognized in Disk Management (right-click on Computer - Manage - Disk Management), and what information is displayed (status, file system, free and used space...)?
    Is it detected in Device Manager?

      First of all, thank you for replying to me :)
      Yes, my SD card works correctly on other devices.
      I do not hear any recognition sound.
      The card is not recognized in disk management or in device managers.
