Hello, I have a problem with updating my PS3 via USB stick and I'm wondering if it would be better to burn the update with all the PS3 files updat and ps3updat.pup onto a DVD, as it keeps showing me that the data is corrupted (8002f165). Waiting for your help ;-)

You can't burn it, the update is done via the internet or USB.
Try the option 3 of the recovery.
