Hello,
I have a PS3 with a 500 GB hard drive, and when I turn it on to play, it displays a message saying that the hard drive is damaged and that it needs to perform a data recovery. But after this recovery (which takes a very long time) is completed, the console shows the message again, and the restoration restarts. This goes on indefinitely.
What should I do? Am I forced to format the hard drive, or is there any way to recover all my data and restart the PS3 without any issues?
(Especially since I don't see how it could have been damaged)
Thank you for helping me find a solution :)

you only do option 3 from this
https://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/31598-ps3-le-mode-recovery
if it persists
you bring it back to the store
you have a 500Go
so a new one I assume
it’s not normal for you to get this message
well not after just a few weeks, later yes
A crowded elevator will always feel different for a dwarf

Currently, a restoration is in progress. As it needs to be turned off, I tried to do it, but it refuses by beeping 3 times quickly. Strange, right?
Otherwise, yes, it's indeed new (2-3 months), so it's not normal.
what does that mean?
if a process is ongoing
then you should not touch anything for now, let it finish
usually, you get this message when you improperly turn off the PS3
kind of like with the PC when you force it off
power cut
freeze etc. etc.
which leads to corrupted files
and so if it's not working
and keeps restarting then your hard drive has issues
and since it's new, it's better not to mess with it
you have a warranty and that's what it's for
