Hello,
I'm writing to get your opinion on a problem I'm having with my laptop: Toshiba Satellite C850, Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU B950, Win 7
I would like to format my system with a DVD, but I'm having an issue with the Setup and/or BIOS during startup. The Toshiba startup logo (Toshiba Leading Innovation) with the boot options F1 or others does not appear.
I cannot access the BIOS; normally, the BIOS is accessed with F2, but when I press F2, nothing happens at all. I've tried everything; when it starts, I've pressed ESC then F1, F2, F12, F8, F10, CTRL, ALT, F11, F12...
So here it is: I would like to know IF THERE ARE OTHER METHODS TO ACCESS THE BIOS
I'm completely lost...
Thank you for your reply.

Hello....
It might be your keyboard that's not responding... try plugging in a USB one and see what happens....
Otherwise, you can remove the hard drive and boot without it... you should get a prompt with F1 or F2 offered....
