[MSI] Battery: "plugged in, not charging" with no solution

Hello,

I've had an MSI laptop for quite some time. I already changed the battery once, and the new one worked very well for over 6 months. But for some time now, the battery no longer charges, and this message appears: "plugged in, not charging."
I know that many questions like this have been asked, but none of the solutions have worked for me (unless I've executed the steps incorrectly...)
However, one detail has never been mentioned in what I've read on other forums, but it seems important to me: when I unplug and then replug the power cable, the message "plugged in, charging" appears, only for about 1% of charge, then it returns to the infamous message "plugged in, not charging."
Thank you for your responses.
Victor B.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 37.0

It's a configuration issue; it's a mode to avoid wear and keep the battery always charged.
1. Turn off your computer normally (Start, Shut down).
2. Remove the battery from the computer and unplug the charger.
3. Press and hold the power button for 20 to 25 seconds (to completely drain the computer).
4. Reinsert your battery, then plug your charger back in.
5. Turn on your computer normally.
6. The problem is resolved ;)
