Connecting your laptop via Ethernet cable

Hello,

I bought an RJ45 Cat 6 straight/shielded Ethernet cable, and I’m trying to connect it to my Neuf Box and my PC, but on the box, the right light is green and the left light is orange. And on my PC, it doesn't connect; it doesn't detect any network except for Wi-Fi, which I can still connect to. I thought there might be an issue with my Ethernet cable, so I took the one currently linking my desktop PC to my Neuf Box, and it doesn’t work either.

P.S.: I changed my box 3 weeks ago, and with the old one, I could connect via Ethernet without any problem. I’m with SFR.

Thank you.

    Hello,

Is the Ethernet port on your laptop possibly faulty?
Or have you tried with something else?
