Network intensity loss with a 30 m Ethernet cable?

Hello,
I recently bought a PC without a Wi-Fi card.
I set up my PC upstairs; my router is on the ground floor, so I have to bring it upstairs to connect it directly to my computer.
However, I also have a PC downstairs that was connected to my router, and it also doesn't have a Wi-Fi card...
My question is: do I lose power (or speed?) by putting my router downstairs and connecting it to my computer upstairs with a 30m Ethernet cable? Is it less advantageous than buying a Wi-Fi card?
