Hello.

Having owned a Canon 7D for a while now, I'm really struggling to take my photos. As a passionate off-road rally enthusiast, I previously had a 1100D that took great pictures with ease. After a good opportunity, I got a 7D, but I can't seem to set it up properly and I'm ending up with way too many blurry photos.

Can you give me some advice/help on how to adjust my camera to get something closer to sports mode and help me reduce the blurry photos?

Thank you very much! :)

    Hi,

between the 1100D and the 7D it's like night and day... With professional gear, you need to adjust your settings, you no longer have the same type of focus points, 19 control points on the 7D while the 1100D only has 7.

What mode are you working in? AV, TV, M

What sensitivity do you choose? ISO mode > Auto

The M mode with ISO on Auto should yield good results. By tracking the movement of the object while shooting, it should create a motion blur effect.

After some research, I was using TV mode.

Mode M with an aperture of 5.6 and Auto ISO would be good?

I've never used the 7D (too expensive for my budget), but I would like to have it in my hands to see if I can get something out of it... I guess for this type of photo it should deliver good results. It's like an F1 car, you need to master it...

If someone knows its use well, they could explain it better.
Try the M mode, aperture 5.6, then for the shutter speed see above 1/500, and the ISO on Auto.
