Automatic Lock during Video Playback

Hello,
I have a little issue with my iPhone 5 lately...
When I watch a video (on Safari or Facebook) that is longer than a minute, the screen fades after 40 seconds and then locks automatically after one minute during video playback. This interrupts the video.
I have to unlock my phone to continue watching.
I’m not sure what I did to make this happen because I didn’t have this issue before...

I want to point out that I am well aware that I have the automatic lock set to one minute, but that hasn’t affected video playback in the past.

I checked on my partner's iPhone 4, which also has the lock set to one minute, and her video doesn’t stop playing in the middle.

Thank you very much for your help

Hello, have you tried unlocking your phone to try it out? Otherwise, you should have a checkbox in your phone settings regarding downloads that you need to uncheck!

Indeed, when I disable the auto-lock by selecting "never" instead of "1 minute," the video doesn't stop!

But before, on my phone (and still currently on my partner's phone), the auto-lock didn’t stop videos that were playing... That's the problem...

If every time I play a video longer than a minute I have to go to settings > general > auto-lock to select "never," I'll be here all night...

You mean to say that no one has a solution? As for me, it happened to me, but during the iOS 10 update, I didn't have this bug anymore. However, it recently returned, which is quite unfortunate. I don't know what to do anymore.
