Is PayPal a scam?

I have just noticed 2 debits on my bank account labeled with the references of the company PayPal (SEPA PAYPAL EUROPE SARL ET CIE SCA)
- on 06.03 an amount of 12.92€ and
- on 09.03 an amount of 155.77€

by checking my activity on my PayPal account, my latest transactions are as follows:
- on 08.03 an amount of 10.99$ (in dollars), marked as funding from a bank account of 10.46€
- on 09.03 an amount of 103.00€, marked as funding from a bank account of 103.00€

could it be that these are the same transactions? I doubt it
for the first transaction, there is a difference in date and amount
for the second, there is an implausible difference of 42.77€

I have just reported these UTRs (Unidentified Transactions) to PayPal and I have an appointment with my bank agency this afternoon .... but I am starting to seriously doubt the quality of PayPal's security if it is a hack.. and their integrity if these are the same transactions ....

I will communicate the result of my steps ...
