Hello,
For the past few days, I've been faced with a rather annoying problem, let me explain:
Each time I start Photoshop, all the panels/tabs on the right are closed every time. I have to reopen them at each startup, which results in a loss of time each time.
I can't find a way to force the display of these tabs. Yet a few days ago I had no problem... Bad manipulation? Possible...
Here's a screenshot, it might be more understandable: http://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=15/11/r8gu.jpg
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 40.0.2214.115

Hi
-Go to Edit > Preferences > Interface
-Click on Restore Default Workspaces
-Uncheck Automatically Hide Icon Panels
-Check Automatically Show Hidden Panels
-Click OK and restart Photoshop
If that’s not enough, in Photoshop click on the drop-down menu at the top right and choose Reset Essentials, close Photoshop and restart it.-
Hello Zlatan,
Thank you for your message and your help.
So,
I tested several configurations in preferences > interface.
I have unchecked "automatically minimize icon panels" and checked "automatically show hidden panels." And here’s what I get after restarting: http://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=15/11/mwyv.jpg
For now the problem persists... :/ -

Here’s what I get after restarting Photoshop and the PC: http://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=15/11/4w7v.jpg
The tabs are again in the closed position...
I really think we’re in the right place, I’ve tried to adjust it in these configurations since this morning but nothing seems to work...
I’m starting to wonder if there’s a defect maybe after adding plugins or scripts.. because I can’t see where the problem could come from....
Do you have any other ideas? -
Hello,
I work on Photoshop CS3 Extended on Windows, but when I go to reset the workspace, the tabs do not appear, and in Edit>Preferences>Interface, I can't find the options to reduce the icon panels and show hidden panels...? I don't know what to do anymore; I've never seen the tabs, not even the first time I installed PS... Can you help me? I need to submit a project, and I've already lost a day!
