Eeepc Asus bios inaccessible

Hello everyone, here is my problem. I retrieved an EEEpc; it turns on and that's it. When I press the power button, this is what appears: Asus Eee PC Press F2 to run Setup, Press Tab to display BIOS POST Message on a gray background, and I press the F2 key and it goes to a black background page and here is what it shows: a logo with the email address WWW.ami.com, American Megatrends below

and nothing else. The hard drive was formatted and Windows 7 is on it. So I’m asking for help because I’m a beginner in computing, thank you for your help.

    Hello,

    What ASUS EEEPC model is this...? a PC-900 or something else, look underneath..
    Normally you have access to the BIOS... But these machines are quite special.

    Here is the manual in English for yours, there is no French version.

    Here is the manual in French for the Seashell model which it should resemble.

    In there, you should find the method to enter the BIOS.

    Of course you should press F2, but you have to do it very quickly at startup, before the EEEPC logo appears, then there are other screens by pressing F2 again. See pages 4-6.
