Change MAC address of a router

Bonjour,

I have an Edimax router, and I would like to change the MAC address.

I am using a professional network that blocks MAC addresses. I am on a tablet, so it is impossible for me to connect via Ethernet cable. I have already changed the MAC address of the tablet, and I still can't connect to the internet...

Help!

    Hello

I don't see how changing the router's MAC address (which I believe is not possible) will do anything
The tablet needs to be authorized in the router.....

      You didn't understand well:

Actually, at work, I connect my router to be able to connect with the tablet.

Except that the network blocks unknown MAC addresses. I just want to change the MAC address of my router, since when I change that of the tablet, nothing changes.

      Exactly, I didn't understand anything.
And I still don't understand anything.

Why connect a router at work?
      Connected to what?
      How is this router configured?
Do you have the list of authorized MAC addresses on the network?

You have to keep yourself busy. And because I can't plug an ethernet cable into the tablet.
Router connected to the local network via ethernet cable.
No idea about the router configuration^^
      And no, no list.

Before, I used to come with my laptop, which I connected via an ethernet cable. And I just had to change my MAC address when I got blocked.

To connect a router to a network that already has at least one, a minimum configuration is required for it to work.

And I just had to change my MAC address when I found myself blocked.
What MAC address did you use? A random one? A specific one?

No, no routers where I work, everything is distributed by Ethernet cable.

      Yes, at random.

    Hi,
Basically, you want to hack into the company's network to connect your useless tablet?
Do you know what you risk doing that without permission? Much more than you think!!
So, if you want to link your router to the network, just ask the administrator to authorize it, that’s all.
You certainly have a good justification for improving your performance to provide to your employer.
At the same time, a school is not quite a company...
    PS,
    wasn’t it you?

    and ... There you go!
