Hello,
I am in the middle of writing my thesis and the formatting is quite complicated.
How can I add my subtitles to the table of contents?
Thank you for your replies.

    Hello

What version of Word are you using?

If you've created an automatic table of contents using heading styles 1, 2, 3..., press Alt F9 to display the field code of the table of contents
You should have a field that looks like this {TOC \o "1-3" \h \z \u } where "1-3" shows the levels of headings and subheadings, 1 for style 1, 2 for style 2 (subheading), etc...
Modify it according to the number of subheadings to be displayed
    Re Alt F9
    And update the TOC
