Good evening,
Unfortunately, I installed COUGAR MESSENGER, but I'm not interested in it and I tried to uninstall it normally using CCLEANER and then with WINDOWS, but it won't uninstall.
Unfortunately, when using the Windows removal, I clicked on delete and now I can't find it either in CCLEANER or in Windows removal.
I am asking for help so that I can solve this problem and completely eradicate this SOFTWARE.
I thank in advance anyone who can help me.

    Hello,

Kill the process with Process Explorer if it is open.

Delete its folder in Program Files.

    Check in AppData as well.

In the startup manager of Revo Uninstaller, delete it.

      Hi fabul,
COUGAR MESSENGER normally closes, I can open it again and close it without any problem. So I don't need Process Explorer..
I will go to Program Files (x86) and delete the COUGAR MESSENGER archive.
But will the program still remain on my hard drive??
Do you think I won’t have any problems??
      Thanks.

      There won't be any problem.

There will only be small harmless traces left. (In AppData Roaming or Local. (hidden folders).

Set Revo to French and take a good look in the startup manager

      If it's there, right-click -> Delete.

      Hi,

After performing a system restore, there shouldn't be any traces left, right?

It would be to go to great lengths for not much, in my opinion.

If it's very recent, no problem, I believe.

When you restore before installing a program, often that program is no longer present as well as the keys in the registry.

    Hello,

Perform a system restore and choose a date prior to its installation.
For Windows 7, check out this tutorial --> Windows 7 System Restore

    Hello kaneagle,
I am going to do what fabl wrote and then for more security I will do a REST SYST. The program was installed yesterday but I didn't continue because I don't like giving my CREDIT CARD.

THANK YOU ALL AND GOOD NIGHT.

If you perform a system restore after cleaning the registry, you will dirty it again.
