Hello everyone
After trying a 3-day subscription on "adopteunemature.com," I got scammed like so many others because they then charge us monthly.
Of course, they never mention this during the trial offer.
Can you please provide me with a radical unsubscription procedure so I no longer have to pay since I'm not interested?
I just read the terms on the site, which is hosted in Malta. IT'S A HUGE SCAM.

    If you oppose ... no more withdrawals possible.
    But whether you oppose or not ... try to find on their website how to request cancellation. This will avoid any potential legal action in case of non-payment.
    
    NB: The money already paid will not be refunded ... unfortunately, even if it's written in very small print or hidden on the site ... the terms clearly indicate that there will be a subscription after the three-day "trial" ... (like ALL the sites that offer this kind of "discovery" subscription ...)

Sorry, but there is no radical unsubscribing; you have to report your credit card as lost to stop the charges.

  Yes, I had to call back multiple times regarding a subscription charge of €48, when I had canceled during my trial period at €1. And when I called to stop this €1 period, the guy was pushing me to other sites, which I declined. He said he had taken care of it, and I got the unpleasant surprise of -€48 a few days later. I should normally be refunded within 5 days. We'll see, but one piece of advice: disable your payments for abroad and online. And only reactivate them if you need them. You should be able to find this in your bank settings. One last thing, if you choose a site, don't pick this one.

The person can't use it even if they have your card because the card's recording happens only after the bank's acceptance. If it's refused due to the deactivation of international and online payments, it's dead; they can't do anything. I had this problem too recently with the website placesdescelibataire.com. They sent me an email saying I needed to pay €49. I told them I wouldn’t pay anything, as I only took a two-day trial that I paid €1.90 for. They say I didn't cancel, blah blah. I said I'm not paying anything. I'm still waiting for the payment email, and I see nothing???? Those bastards are just scammers. As soon as you're registered and start the trial period, whether you cancel or not, they'll do everything to charge you. I confirm the scam, it's impossible to cancel except through a premium number. Fortunately, I paid a small trial to see, with a virtual card, so no further withdrawals.
Beware of the scam + prostitution ads.

The only way to get rid of these dishonest leeches is to pay with virtual credit cards (see REVOLUT)
As soon as you’ve paid something to these thieves with a virtual Visa card, you delete it and create a new one for about EUR 6.00. That way, they can no longer withdraw from the card you used to pay because it no longer exists!!!
Don't waste your time trying to unsubscribe because they are so twisted that you will never succeed!!!

All banks offer an online service that allows access to the list of direct debits set up on one's account. Simply log in and "suspend" the relevant direct debit.

I was also a victim. I wanted to sign up for "Adopte un mec" and I accidentally paid for a trial for 3 days on "Adopte une mature"
The next day, I was charged 49 euros
Then 21 euros
I wanted to cancel the automatic payment, so I called a premium rate number and got connected with a man who barely spoke French. I told him I wanted to cancel the automatic payment
He replied okay but said I could connect to another site and pay for another subscription. I completely lost it and told him he needed to cancel everything and that I refused the other subscription. He told me okay, it’s canceled
Yet, a few days later, I was charged 47 euros again for no reason

And regarding this dating site, one word to describe it: a shady site. Besides, going to hide in Malta, where a journalist was murdered last year, I believe, means you intend to engage in criminal activities and other forms of extortion. I've just canceled my subscription, and to do that, you only need to go to Billing History and carefully follow the instructions because everything is designed to keep us hooked... professional scammers and exploiters!

I believe I've managed to cancel my one-day subscription, but it's a real hassle; you have to call a premium-rate number and be very convincing to get a confirmation email.
I canceled today, so I'll let you know soon if I'm completely satisfied with the process.
Website to avoid absolutely until they simplify the cancellation!!

    You need to go to settings, delete the automatic invoice in 5 steps I believe, be careful not to click on "next" at the last step, but on "delete my account" written in very small text. I had to do it 3 or 4 times..
    Then the site asks you to call a number to finalize the process... 0 805 08 19 33 (maybe you can call the number directly without the first 5 steps?), you need to have your member number from the site ready, which will be requested, be careful the person on the phone is really not skilled.. make sure to have them repeat the number you give them. The person will try to get you to sign up for another site.. Be very firm!!
    A few hours later, you will receive an email confirming the cancellation of the automatic billing. And you will feel relieved!!!

Well, I wanted to test the 3 days, then while digging through the account history on the site, it was written that on September 11, they were going to charge me 50 euros per month… WTF I called the paid number they provided and the woman on the phone canceled this automatic renewal

I received a confirmation email and then I went back to check the billing history on the site, and indeed the 50 euros per month subscription was no longer there… but I'm going to keep an eye on my bank account for a while… I don’t trust it… after all, they have my credit card info so it’s worth watching…
