How to increase the ringing volume of an apartment intercom? Can we connect an amplifier to it, and how can we do that? Thank you for keeping me informed.

What kind of intercom is it? Video? Simple handset (telephone)?
Maybe you have one or two small volume and ringtone adjustment buttons on the side of the device; Sometimes it’s hidden inside the casing, usually it opens from the bottom with a small tab or a screw;
Inside, you will find two small potentiometers that can be adjusted with a very small screwdriver;
There are also solutions depending on the brands, one can connect a special buzzer that can be installed in another room of the housing.
For that, you need to check with the intercom installer or request it from the landlord. And if it's a video phone, it's better to consult a professional because it's more complicated.-
Hello; thank you for your reply; I looked at the device and it's a very old model from the 80s, I think. There are no adjustments or small holes to be able to engage a screwdriver. I would like to know if we can connect a buzzer in parallel with the current buzzer; I am handy and know quite a bit about electricity, I could connect it if I knew where we could get one; thank you again for the information.
