Unexpected appearance of the "cancel input" window

Hello,
I have an iPad Air that, for the past few days, has been displaying the "undo typing" window at every letter, and even without me touching the iPad... To the point that I can no longer use it.
Is there a way to disable the shake function (which has probably bugged) or this undo typing option? I've searched everywhere in the settings and on tutorials but found nothing on this topic.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
My nerves thank you in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
Ingrid

Hello, for several weeks my iPod had the same problem. After reading all this, I went into the settings and typed "shake to undo," I clicked on the first result and it offered me to turn off this feature (with the little slider that goes green). I checked if it worked well in a few apps and it's good. Normally, for this message I'm writing, I would have already seen more than 30 "undo typing?" But it's fine. I'm replying late, but for those who have the same problem and come across this like I did, here's another solution.
Thanks

Thank you, I feel like it's working again. I've been looking for the source of the problem for a week.

Hello,

Unfortunately, it's when you're not looking for these options that you stumble upon them and vice versa (I just searched and I didn't find anything...)

However, I think your iPad's gyroscope has a problem - try restoring the iPad first (using iTunes, if you don't know how to, there are plenty of tutorials available) and if that still doesn't work, make an appointment at an Apple Store (or at the store where you bought it) to get it repaired or replaced.

Good luck!

Thank you for your quick response!

I will restore it and we will see.
Normally, for it to appear, you need to shake the iPad. There is also in the settings the "multitasking gestures" function, but I don't know if there is a link.

Have a nice day

Usually, it has nothing to do with this option. If I remember correctly, it's called "shake to undo" - but I have the impression that the option has been moved or removed since iOS 8 because I can't find it in either "keyboard" or "accessibility"!

Hello.
Just to give you an update regarding the appearance of that window: my iPad fell and the problem has disappeared...
Well now I have another problem, this time with the screen...

Ah, it's hard for me to help you from here...!
Anyway, if it's no longer guaranteed, don't go to Apple; it'll cost you a fortune (I hope it didn't fall because you got angry and smashed it against the ground? :p)

Have a good day!
