Start my Blackberry without a battery

Hello,

My question might seem a bit silly...
A year ago, I changed my smartphone.
I put my old Blackberry Curve 8520 in a corner, as I didn't have time to deal with it. A month later, I took my BB back, and the battery cover was lifted... I opened it, and I found the battery all swollen...
Seeing that there was nothing to do, I threw the battery away.

Anyway, I was wondering if it was possible to turn on my phone, or to connect it to my PC, to recover what’s inside... I still have the charger and the USB cable.
