Hello,
when I try to insert an ActiveX button in a spreadsheet, I get the error message "Unable to insert an object." Is it because my Excel is misconfigured or am I forgetting something?
When I want to insert a form button, there's no problem, but I can't seem to visualize its properties to, for example, change its color (Backcolor).
Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 34.0

Hello,
This is most likely a bug due to the disastrous latest update of Office.

Therefore, it is necessary to uninstall this update in the computer's configuration settings...

Thank you Pikachu,
I was able to uninstall the update KB2596927 and regain the ability to insert an ActiveX control in an Excel 2007 spreadsheet.
Thank you all, and I must admit that I am very, very surprised that Microsoft hasn't fixed this since December 9th, it's quite shameful!!!!
