Hello,

Yes, unfortunately, the most commonly used video format on the web cannot be installed on the web browser of the Orange decoders for security reasons.

But there is a solution because these decoders are compatible with HTML5; we just need to find out how to activate it, if possible, on your favorite video site!!

So the solution for YouTube, from the Orange TV browser, is to go to a configuration page for YouTube:

https://www.youtube.com/supported_browsers

And click on: Request the use of the HTML5 player

And there you go, the decoder is capable of playing YouTube videos, but be careful, YouTube specifies that the HTML5 player will be used when possible....

Thank you for responding. On my computer, YouTube is already using the HTML5 player, but I still don't see how to watch YouTube videos on my TV screen?

To do this, you need a Livebox Play decoder... and follow the instructions provided on the Orange website:

https://assistance.orange.fr/tv-decodeur/tous-les-decodeurs/installer-et-utiliser/multimedia-et-divertissement

It's not easy to help you, can you please specify your internet plan/type of decoder...
