Stop playback of a DVD

Hello,
when I put a DVD in my player, it suddenly stops in the middle of playback and the playback becomes "choppy." What is this due to?? This same DVD has been played in different players without this problem... is it related to an issue with the player itself? I WANT TO SPECIFY THAT THE PLAYER IS NEW!!

      In response to "moi-néo", it is a DVD player connected to a Peekton TV, purchased online from cddiscount.com...
      Apparently, it's the 30th minute that gets stuck!! But why??

        I have the same problem with DVDs that are burned on both sides, and this is despite the player. I don't know what to do.
