Turn your iPhone into a speaker

Hello

So I'm looking for a way to connect my iPhone to my PC with a basic cable and receive sound from it. I definitely don't want anything "wireless"! Basically, I want to use it as a jack extension:
PC -----------------------------> iPhone --------------------------> Headphones
with a regular cable, the headphones plugged in
(iPhone / USB) to the iPhone!

It's obvious and simple, but I haven't found anything on Google, just wireless stuff over Wi-Fi.

Thanks.

Hi

Given how Apple makes everything complicated regarding compatibility and transfers between an Apple device and one from another brand (although even between I-things, sometimes it doesn't work), I would be surprised if it were doable...
Why not put the music directly on the iPhone?

Thank you for your reply Grolardbzh,

I would like to create a jack extension because my PC has a jack port but it's at the back of the tower, so it's inconvenient when I play.

So I was trying to find out if by making my diagram I could have my iPhone next to my keyboard and therefore be able to play freely without being bothered! (because the wire won't be taut)

Basically, what's bothering you is that your cable is tight when you're playing?
If I were you, I would buy a jack extension because what you want to do is, in my opinion, impossible...

Exactly! But I would like to avoid wasting 1€ and something when I can get it for free. But well, that will be my last resort.

In any case, it's been nearly 5 years since I've had iPhones and I've never heard of such a feature... I think you're not going to have a choice.

Well... I'm almost sure that a software can do this but you have to find it.

Thanks for your help anyway Grolardbzh

I'm marking it as resolved.

Have a good holiday!
