The Internet connection via number 1515 is a system implemented in Algeria, where you only need a PC equipped with a modem and a fixed telephone line to connect to the internet wherever you are across the territory of Algeria.
To configure an internet connection via 1515, simply set it up as follows:
1- Find network connection in the control panel, where you create a new connection (top right).
2- In the dialog window, choose the first option: (connect to the internet) and click next.
3- Choose the second option (configure manually) + next.
4- Choose the first option (connection using a modem) + next.
5- Select and check your modem from a list (you will probably find only one modem) + next.
6- Give a name to your connection + next.
7- Enter the phone number 1515 + next.
8- Leave the username and password fields empty (do not write anything) + next.
9- Click finish, and there you are ready to connect.

does 1515 still exist? I remember its launch in 2002 or 2003, where students believed it was a free connection. I can't tell you how surprised I was when the phone bill arrived; it was really outrageous. Luckily, I hadn't spent my miserable university scholarship of 2700 DA/3 months. I remember being afraid of my father, and because of that, I paid the bill without him knowing!
I advise you today to get an ADSL connection with any operator. I'm not in a position to recommend which is the best since I don't know them! In any case, try not to get caught off guard by the phone bill.

AHH, yes, if you have teenagers at home, be careful, they can have very nice encounters on the internet and exchange phone numbers. Afterwards, it's stronger than them; they will use the landline to call France, Italy, Germany, England... and the list goes on. Believe me, the aftermath will be hell with the authorities!

new subscribers to the landline, but the nightmare came with the phone bill of ( internet

Djaweb 3697.34 DA ) and the total bill is 4722.89 DA. I thought that the connection via

1515 was free; it’s false. Before using the connection via 1515, I spoke with a worker at Djaweb who

confirmed that the internet connection is free, and unfortunately it’s the opposite. I am shocked.

(Djaweb is the name of the internet service in Algeria; its role is to rob innocent people)

I also just had the same experience. Before connecting to 1515, I checked with the operators that it was free, and I was surprised by a bill of 13,500 DA!
