Increase memory on PS3?

Hello,
I have a PS3 12GB. Regarding the games I play, I am constantly forced to delete and reinstall games due to lack of space. What should I do to increase this "space"?

Indeed, I have another question then: is there a more "portable" way than dragging around an external hard drive? Can you actually change the internal hard drive of the PS3 while keeping the same partitioning system?

Huh??? Who told you about an external hard drive?? To increase the space dedicated to game installations, you need an internal hard drive... it's non-negotiable...
However, if you want to transport your saves to a friend's house, you can put them on a USB stick... that's the only "portable" aspect of this story ^^

The USB key will be useless, it's external; the storage device must be internal.

Impossible, unless you get flashed.

And if you've managed to install a game on an external USB stick, what would an internal one be for, since you say I'm right.

Also, if you've managed to do it legally, then the whole community is waiting for your tutorial because it's been 9 years that people have been trying.

I haven't installed games on it: I've installed my saves and my game and user data.
