I can no longer attach files to sent emails.

Hello everyone, for the past two to three weeks, I've noticed that I can no longer attach files (photos, for example) from my computer to an email created on my ALICE or AOL mail. I have the same issue when I want to add photos to an ad posted on LE BON COIN.

My computer seems to not respond at all, there's no error message, nothing happens. What’s surprising is that I don't have this problem with my WINDOWS MAIL application.

Can someone tell me what’s going on with my TOSHIBA/WINDOWS VISTA computer/system?

    Good evening,

You don't have a rejection message.
Have you simply tried cleaning your PC, for example with Ccleaner, it can sometimes be effective... Have you checked the size of your files? What is your internet service provider?
    Best regards

Hello cactus83. Thank you for your response. I do have Ccleaner.exe but I'm hesitant to check all the options suggested for cleaning, are there risks of losing important information? My files are normal, I've often downloaded similar files before this issue. My ISP is ALICE.

Best regards, have a nice day.

      Hi,

Have you tried with another browser, for example Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?

Thank you for your response, but before that, it worked with my INTERNET EXPLORER browser...!!

The goal is to identify the issue. :)

If it works with another browser, then the problem is with Internet Explorer, and that way we won't have to search for the issue everywhere. :)

      Re
As for Ccleaner, you leave it with the installation settings. Go ahead, it won't hurt, quite the opposite...

However, Mstr is right! You should also check with another browser. IE is known to cause certain problems....

      Best regards

For Ccleaner, there is no problem, it seems to be working. However, the installation of MOZILLA FIREFOX is still causing me problems: I CANNOT DOWNLOAD the application to my computer. It might be related to the operation of my WINDOWS VISTA, what do you think? Until this problem, it was working fine though!

      Best regards

Hello again cactus83. I'm sure it's not the browser that's the issue, as my problem is an "internal" downloading issue, transferring photos from my hard drive to my ALICE or AOL email...

Regarding the posts, I don't quite understand, but in any case, I prefer to keep both discussions.

Thank you for your help. See you soon.

    Hello everyone!

    Simple question:

Do you proceed this way to send your attachment? :

It is indeed a way to do it by going through Windows Mail.

      Thank you

      Best regards

To summarize, my Zimbra Alice and AOL messengers are not working well (unable to attach files), but my backup messaging service Windows Mail is working. Does anyone have an explanation?
