AVS editor keeps crashing.

Hello,

I have completed the creation of a documentary using images and audio (mp3).
When I tried to create the film and burn it to DVD for the first time, the software crashed just before the burning process, forcing me to close the program.

Since then, whenever I open it, the software crashes and closes as soon as I click on anything. My work is still safe, thankfully, but how can I recover it and, more importantly, burn it?

    Hello Jrw Daniel,

It all depends on what type of editing we are doing.
I use Pinnacle Ultimate 14, I do edits from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes, I assure you that it requires responsive equipment.
    Best regards

    Hello,

-Save your projects in a separate folder,
    -Uninstall the program
-Perform a registry clean-up and remove residual files (CCleaner) then reinstall the program properly. If you have burning issues, encode it in DVD format and then burn it using another program.

    Hello

It’s probably a lack of power from your computer.
It should be noted that to make fairly long video edits, you need some strength,
    namely:
Intel Core 5 or even 7 processor
6GB or even 8GB of RAM
7200 RPM hard drive of 1TB with a dedicated partition for video.
    Best regards
