We ordered a sofa in early January that we were supposed to receive within 8 weeks... nearly 5 months later, still nothing! We keep being passed around on the phone without end, we're promised callbacks, and of course, no one calls us back... For an order of nearly 2000 euros, there's no seriousness. Very disappointed, we are going to cancel the order. Hoping we haven't been scammed by Deco in Paris!

Decoinparis is a really unreliable website. I ordered a leather corner sofa and I didn't receive the right one, and the quality of the stitching on the sofa is really not great. Their customer service is pathetic; I really do not recommend it.

Déco in Paris is not very reliable. I ordered a sofa just like other customers, and I’m still waiting and waiting for it to be delivered. I called customer service, and I always get the same response: "We will call you as soon as your package has shipped." They take us for fools. I’m going to have to file a complaint. Not great as a site; I strongly advise against it.

After my in-laws ordered a sofa for our Christmas (order placed on November 20, 2015) and having waited until today, January 14, 2016, I can say that they are very slow (because they mark the products as in stock while they actually have to bring them in from abroad..) but they are reliable! Our sofa is just as we expected and not damaged at all, very well packed. We're very happy we were patient!

HORRIBLE QUALITY
I bought a sofa for 600 euros. If I had seen it in-store, I wouldn’t have purchased it even for 50 euros. Not to mention the delivery deadline they give you is not respected; it took 5 months for delivery!!!! The gentleman was very unpleasant on the phone when we called to get information about the delivery; he brushed us off. After a week, there were metal pieces sticking out all over the place.

This Poppy, coming out of nowhere, seems to be a fake ass incense agitator in glory of Déco, a notoriously SHODDY site.

The wording of his intervention reeks of FAKE.. Since then, we haven't seen him again..

Dear Sir or Madam,

I purchased an item from you, 2 anthracite gray convertible chairs TONKA,

However, they have a defect that makes them unfit for their intended use.

After several contacts and explanations of the defects observed (sending numerous emails + photos) with the manager of your customer service, Ms. Alison BRETON, who has been telling me for 6 months that the Chinese factory is not responding and she could do nothing about it! and that it was not her problem if no one responded! After several amicable requests to enforce the warranty for hidden defects that must be applied according to Article 1641 of the Civil Code, Articles L216-1 to L216-3 of the Consumer Code, and the refusal to consider these legitimate requests for replacement or refund, I requested a meeting with management but it is impossible to have another responsible contact other than the ineffective and unfriendly filtering of customer service!

Also, by this letter, I formally request that you replace the defective goods or, failing that, refund me the sums paid before filing a complaint and bringing this matter before the small claims court, and disseminating information to various consumer defense newspapers.

To date, my damages amount to €396.

Without a response from you within 8 days, I will have no choice but to forward my file to LITIGE.FR in order to initiate all necessary legal proceedings.

Absolutely do not order from them!!!!!!!!!! Huge scam, incompetent, I do not recommend them. They have been rude and not up to par in terms of customer information and after-sales service, they couldn't care less about their clients. They hang up on you when you call back, the manager never wants to talk to customers, she hides behind her desk. Do not order from them at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Believe me, huge scam.

After several exchanges to claim the delivery delay knowing that the sofa was marked as in stock and delivery in 48 hours.
The order
went from 48 hours to 3 weeks in two clicks and then without notification we called to find out it was actually 6 weeks. We asked for any other color or a goodwill gesture since we no longer had a sofa and had to use an inflatable mattress bought for almost €100!!!
Without taking the time to escalate or look for a solution, we were quickly offered 5% with purchase conditions and excluding sales while they offer 10% for everyone and items sold at 65%!! Really disappointed ???? It's crazy and I don't think I'll come back to them

Bad experience. I ordered a 2-seater fabric sofa. I received it on February 28th, and now it’s April 3rd and the sides of the sofa are all frayed. I had to put a protective cover on it. 278 euros wasted. So I do not recommend it. It's better to buy a sofa from the store.

Sofa arrived torn and stained with one screw and one nut missing.
The package was not damaged on the outside, I did not open it as the carrier was in a hurry. No compensation with supporting photos. Extremely disappointed. Absolutely avoid this site.

Personally, I ordered a glass table last year and had no issues. I just ordered another table, and the delivery is scheduled on time.

I didn’t have any problems with the first order; I even received it ahead of schedule, and the quality was very good.

When everything goes well, it's certain, no worries with them.
But when the sofa is delivered in front of the gate, the driver leaves without waiting for us to do anything and without providing a delivery slip, that’s when the troubles begin when we find out once unpacked that the sofa is torn. I called them all back immediately, but of course, it's nobody's fault! Neither Déco In Paris nor Transports Géodis.
And we're left with a torn sofa on our hands, yet the payment has been processed without a hitch.
Bravo the scam-ad on the website! "Satisfaction or your money back."

Not at all! Run away! Do not believe the fake positive reviews. They won't deliver to you, and you won't be able to get a refund. Here is the procedure for those who have been taken in; you need to go to court:
As soon as you have sent a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, I hope keeping a copy, to the seller denouncing the contract for non-respect of deadlines, the contract is terminated from the moment the seller receives this letter.

Thus, by virtue of article L138-3 of the Consumer Code, as cited below, this professional is required to refund you the entire amount paid within fourteen days, after which this amount will be increased as follows:

For my part, I chose a seat for my daughter on the website and went to the store, so I had no delivery issues. Just a problem with assembly (impossible...). But oh well... I only put in 4 screws, the others not lining up with the holes.

On the other hand, the sofas were nice, and I would have been tempted. Except that they don't dispose of the old sofa. And I don't have the space even by stacking one on top of the other... so I let it go. The positive thing is that at least they don't push sales.

Very happy with my Scandinavian sofa and the very friendly customer service. The sofa was delivered quickly with all the parts and in perfect condition. The instructions were very well detailed, so I put it together by myself even though I am not handy at all!

Hello,

There are more negative comments than positive ones, but I've chosen to see it for myself. Thomas 3+2 sofa ordered by phone and received 5/5 without any issues.

Your comments scared me for no reason, except I was still cautious before making my purchase. I contacted them by email, then took a trip to their showroom in Paris to check if they had it in stock.
Two days later, I placed the order by phone (very polite and professional), and to avoid any delays, I opted for delivery at my own expense. €9 cheaper, but still... lol
Invoice and other confirmations received by email, and for the pickup: perfect. Color control and other qualities checked by colleagues.

Quality: for the displayed price, don't expect top-notch, otherwise go see leather center and others (yes, I will do that) but for the rest, nothing to complain about.

If we're ready to criticize, we should also be ready to say good things when things go well.

Bravo to the team (you were courteous and helpful) keep avoiding mistakes or misunderstandings which I personally did not notice.

I had a very, very bad experience despite having received my order well; I advise everyone around me to NEVER ORDER FROM DECO IN PARIS.

Decoinparis is a reliable online sales site, contrary to what people are saying. Please, do not generalize your cases. I ordered a Dixie sofa on this site on 20/02/19 at 14:19 with pick-up the same day at the Bordeaux depot.
Very good quality sofa.
To reassure you, Decoinparis has a physical store in Paris.
