How to find out your chipset? Solved

Question

Hello, I recently changed the power supply of my PC that had burned out.
But the motherboard also burned (I plugged everything in and at best the fans turn without reason and I have no display).
My processor is the Intel Celeron D but apparently it has 2 chipsets:
the 478 and the LGA 775.

Apparently, the Celeron D processors are LGA775

There are not two "chipsets" but two "sockets" for the processor.
Specifically socket 478 or 775, in fact, Celerons existed on both.
If the PC is 9 years old, it could be either since they coexisted in 2004.
A photo of the board will allow me to quickly determine what it is (especially the processor area).
But if your idea is to find a compatible motherboard for your Celeron, I'll stop you right there: It's no longer worth it........too old, you can still find it but it's obsolete.
You might as well buy a new upgrade kit (motherboard/CPU/ram).

The 478 and 775 are not chipsets but sockets, they are the supports in which you insert your processor

The difference is quickly noticeable, on socket 478, the processor has pins that can also bend while socket 775 uses a different system without pins and you have a cover that closes over the CPU
